Through my GA position at WVU I will be filling the role of Head S&C coach at Clay-Battelle high school. This role includes programming and coaching for all sports programs, organizations of practice schedules and general weight room management.

The duties of this position include acting as Head Strength Coach at Clay-Battelle High School and participating in other research projects and programs through the College of Applied Human Sciences at WVU.

To fill my time during my gap year before grad school, I was hired by NALCAP as an Auxiliares de Conversacion to assist in teaching elementary aged children english in the Valencian community of Spain. This job title includes talking and interacting with the children to practice their conversational english skills and assisting the english teachers in classroom activities.

As part of my degree requirements I will be completing an internship with University of Michigan Olympic Strength and Conditioning. I’m humbled and thrilled at the opportunities to further my professional knowledge within this field and get to experiences a whole new Strength and Conditioning program.

As part of my minor in Strength and Conditioning here at WSU, I am completing an internship with WSU athletics as a Strength and Conditioning Intern. The roles of this internship include volunteering with various sports teams, managing equipment in the weight room, and learning everything I can from the Strength and Conditioning staff. I'm excited for all the opportunities this position will offer!
