I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan, where I studied UX Research and Information Science in the School of Information. My interest in human-computer interaction and creating digital solutions for businesses and end-users inspired me to pursue this major. I have a strong interest in the intersection of psychology and technology which led me to secure a research position during my studies. The over-arching goal of this research was to increase commitment and decrease turnover in online communities. My research has not only supported my interests, but it has taught me how I can apply my skills and education to improve the experience and functionality of online communities for businesses and organizations. I thrive in a collaborative environment and my roles on various research teams have given me the necessary communication and leadership skills to excel in this field.I am passionate about all aspects of the UX field, especially using proven techniques to understand user needs, and finding solutions to users’ pain points. I am interested in being part of an organization that is committed to creating a better user experience for its customers, clients, and employees.

Content Strategy InternClearlink May 2021 - Aug 2021Tampa, Florida, United StatesWorking at Clearlink, I was able to broaden my skills in data analysis and website auditing. One of my biggest projects over the internship was taking data and creating the motivations, frustrations, behaviors, and traits of 4 user personas for one of Clearlink’s websites. Additionally, I assisted the content strategy team with website auditing. I gained a good deal of experience in WordPress and Elementor while updating website pages and making sure important pages followed each website’s style guide and best UX practices. My last project of the summer was creating a learning and development document for the team that would plan out their future team development workshops. This document had everything from best accessibility practices, to data visualization and analysis methods, to survey writing best practices and other UX research methods. -
