Preparation and analysis of agricultural soil samples. Experience in analysis including nitrate nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur and organic carbon.

Responsible for coordinating non-hazardous waste program on site and coordinating and overseeing hazardous waste shipments. Liaising with site personnel and waste management companies to ensure implementation of hazardous waste legislation. Reporting EHS metrics and measurements and coordination of EHS awareness activities and campaigns. Ensuring compliance with local, national and EU legislation regarding environmental and safety issues. Responsibility for spill control in the plant.

Collection and analysis of industrial wastewater and final effluent samples and assessing compliance with company and EU effluent quality standards

Worked on the Salmon Microtag Recovery program which involved the monitoring of fish traps and the removal and examination of recovered microtags. Used specialised computer programme for the recording and analysis of tags. Presented a group paper on the program.
