I am currently a senior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Philosophy with a minor in Human Rights. I am on the pre-med track in hopes of becoming a physician. I am extremely interested in ethics and moral philosophy as it concerns global health and human rights. I am the Vice President of Grace’s Promise Inc., a 501(c)3 non profit dedicated to creating preschool programs in undeserved rural communities. Our current program operates in the Nakesake district of Uganda. I have created an income generating activities (IGA) program with the preschoolers’ families to create sustainable jobs from microloans to further their children’s education. I am passionate about working to make the world a better place. I am a team player and always try to think outside of the box to further sustainability. I am currently seeking internship opportunities in research, human rights or other areas that would help me grow professionally and personally.
