I’ve been a licensed clinical social worker since 1987. I specialize in treating women and their families who struggle with anxiety and depression as well as addictions/codependency.One of my passions is treating women who have perinatal mood disorders and postpartum depression. We developed a training video, Descent into Desperation , in 2005, which has been used throughout the United States to educate nurses, doctors, psychiatrists and lactation consultants about perinatal mood disorders and postpartum depression.I am a Christian therapist with a strong passion to encourage, strengthen and heal those interested in combining their faith in their counseling journey and recovery.We’ve had several practice offices in the Northwest Suburbs including Crystal Lake, South Barrington, Hoffman Estates and Lake Zurich, Illinois. Next year our staff will be celebrating our thirtyfourth work anniversary!
