Through my love of reading and my deep interest in stories, whether they are portrayed through actual paper books, television shows, or multi-genre movies, I have come across hundreds, nay thousands of female characters that I can personally relate to. However, it is one story that has always stood out in my mind, the story of Mulan. Sure this sounds cliché, it is, but Mulan has constantly inspired me. A strong independent woman who left home, taught others to see her value, and found her passion in life after several struggles. I am an independent and strong woman and I let my work represent me instead of allowing people to look at me and think they know me. This account is laced with my achievements just like all others on this site, I know it is hard to stand out here. I could claim all that I have done and achieved but one glance at my profile can explain that. All I want from this site is a chance to establish myself.
