I am a graduate from The University of Arizona in Tucson. I majored Communication with an International Business minor. This combination was both rigorous and fascinating. The study of communication greatly interests me, and the opportunity to study International Business from an administrative perspective is both unique and challenging. I am a alumnae of the women's fraternity Delta Delta Delta, where I served on many committees and as the fraternity's Sustainability Advocate. Sustainable practices are both a passion, as well as something I try to incorporate into my own life. I spent a semester in Barcelona studying abroad, traveling the world, and learning to navigate a new culture. I worked for the American Museum of Natural History as a Media Relations Intern. My internship included a wide variety of duties, which helped to train me in the media relations field and broaden my experiences as a young professional. I served with AmeriCorps VISTA as a capacity builder for a non-profit organization that works with literacy across the board as well as English as a Second Language. I worked to broaden our presence within the community; my efforts also helped to raise funds for various areas of service.In 2018 I discovered a passion for public service. Since then I have volunteered and served as a senior staff/advisor on many different campaigns and exploratory committees. I have experience in field, finance (compliance), fundraising, building and maintaining large organizational structures, community organizing, and donor relations. I currently serve as the deputy director for the Utah Democrats.
