I continued my focus on improving the client experience, looking at expense reports to discover how the numbers reveal places to tighten up. Through tracking client accounts, I could determine which showed the most promise and which were the most profitable. This led to more senior members being able to make strategic decisions on which new opportunities to pursue, for more business growth.As in previous positions, I planned and coordinated events such as client appreciation, orientation, and staff retreats. These required a high degree of logistics, seeing to all the details, and making sure each part supported the brand image and company goals. All this while also seeing to normal everyday operations to make the office function smoother.

This is the position which solidified my love for working in this industry, working with patients throughout their continuum of care to see to their needs. The office had events from time to time, both for marketing meetings or lunches with sales reps for the internal staff, in addition to those focused on connecting with existing or new client prospects. I handled these, finding solutions to every variable, and I became skilled in proactively addressing all aspects which minimized problems during the events themselves.But the tasks I gravitated toward included discussing clients’ challenges, which were their obstacles to being able to pursue taking care of their own needs through the services we offered. Whether talking with them about their options or finding logistical solutions for their friends and family who needed to travel, I handled them all. I also had responsibility for client account tracking, billing, and scheduling for this busy office.

Customer care is relevant for every industry, including this one. As an academic instructor, I created a foundation which prioritized taking care of multiple levels of customers. This required modifying my training and instruction methods so I reached each and every one of my participants, adapting to their unique needs. Through all of these things, I focused on making this an environment which promoted learning and problem-solving, pairing this with addressing potential issues head-on, before they became problematic. In this way, I directed the entire customer experience along the way, which led to fewer conflicts and greater customer retention.
