I am the owner of the law firm Lyons Law Group, LLC, which exclusively represents public school districts and proudly supports public school committees, administrators, teachers, and staff. As a magna cum laude graduate of New England School of Law, I currently represent school districts in all aspects of education law before state and federal agencies, as well as in state and federal court, with a particular emphasis in special education matters. My dedication to education precedes my career in law. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, both from Texas Tech University. I was previously employed as a certified speech-language pathologist in both the private and public sectors prior to becoming an attorney. I am committed to collaborating with fellow attorneys though a variety of professional organizations. I am the Co-Chair of the annual Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education School Law Conference, and I am a member of the Massachusetts Council of School Attorneys, as well as the National School Boards Association Council of School Attorneys. One of my greatest joys is bringing the law to life through professional development. I am passionate about providing training to school districts, and I have proudly presented workshops to districts on a variety of special education and related general education topics. Additionally, I have been a frequent speaker at professional conferences, workshops, and seminars on a state-wide level.
