I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), where I have also completed my Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering. My hands-on research experience UTEP has involved developing mathematical models for nozzle sizing in cold gas propulsion systems, conducting CAD modifications for flight-ready satellite propulsion modules, and performing multi-physics simulations to ensure system performance and flight-readiness. Additionally, I have designed, built, and tested a nanoscale electrospray thruster prototype tailored for integration within CubeSat architecture. In addition to my academic research, I have gained valuable industry experience through internships at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC) and Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). At NASA JSC, I conducted design calculations for lunar in-situ resource utilization (ISRU) system components, optimized heat exchangers and methanation reactors, and utilized computational fluid dynamics simulations to validate component performance. My work in additive manufacturing at NASA MSFC for propulsion applications, including developing and maintaining standards and designing closeout flanges for rocket nozzles, has further expanded my expertise in this cutting-edge field.Fluent in both English and Spanish, I thrive in collaborative and multidisciplinary environments. I am proficient in MATLAB, digital engineering tools, CAD and CAE software (Autodesk and Siemens), and have extensive experience with machine shop tools and equipment. My goal is to contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of aerospace technology and drive the future of space exploration.I am excited to connect with fellow professionals, researchers, and industry leaders to share knowledge, explore opportunities, and make meaningful contributions to the aerospace engineering community. 🪐🚀🛰️
