Work currently as a weekend PRN PTA within the Acute settings of the hospital.Guided 8-12 patient daily caseloads through therapeutic exercise, activities, gait training, transfer safety, range of motion, cardiovascular endurance, and respiratory training to promote safety and functional independence to transfer to home or rehabilitation facilities. Monitor patient vitals, utilize hospital equipment, and adjust sessions appropriate to patient status. Educate acute patients with assistive device safety awareness to enhance functional independence using stairs and bed/toilet transfers. Collaborate and coordinate patient progress/performance with related nurses, doctors, occupational, and respiratory therapists to deliver efficient treatment sessions based on patient status.

Pediatric Physical Therapy ClinicDesigned therapy sessions to improve pediatric patients’ general strength, balance, bilateral coordination, speed/agility, gait mechanics, stair navigation, ROM, and theratog/assistive device application with individuals of various diagnoses and physical disabilities.
