Softscapes was established as a division of Audio/Video Environments, Inc. in the fall of 2020 to complement our automated drapes and shades expertise in the home automation industry. Within Softscapes, we design and fabricate custom draperies, shades, pillows, throws, cushions, coverlets, duvet covers, light reupholstery, custom headboards, and any other soft furnishings for the home – indoors or out.

Discover My Father's House (DMFH) is a home school enrichment program meeting 12 weeks each of the fall and spring semesters. Their focus is to minister to home school families by providing an educational and fellowship opportunity for students to spend a day taking classes given at DMFH from teachers employed by DMFH. As Head Administrator, I was responsible for working with the teachers to determine which courses were to be offered each semester and supervising all personnel. I handled all communications with parents and processed all registrations and paperwork the school required. Additionally, I was responsible for tracking and collecting all Accounts Receivables and processing bank deposits and withdrawals as needed. Communicating with the Board of Directors about the status of the school from fundraisers to course offerings to the school's financial state. While at DMFH, the number of students increased by 30% and we went from a deficit to over $38K in the bank.
