The Wellcome Sanger Institute being viewed as a ‘leader’ in this area and in turn holds a UK Secretary of State recognised ‘Best Practice’, the first recognised by the UK.Holding responsibility for enabling the Institute and its staff to remain compliant with the obligations and expectations set out by ‘The Nagoya Protocol (Compliance) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018’, I provided and oversaw an exceptional level of compliance-based service to our staff and the Institute in an evolving landscape, enabling the Institute to deliver its scientific strategy in a risk-managed way.
