I have a background of working within the home care sector; primarily as a carer, with some managerial duties taken at various times, particularly during university holidays.My undergraduate degree was in biomedical science, which has allowed me to build a sound knowledge of anatomy through dissection, as well as an understanding of whole system to molecular levels of health and disease process. This degree has also provided me with skills and understanding regarding the research process and interpretation of journal articles. I have just completed my nurse training, where I have gained a variety of different exposures, and have loved seeing my learning fitting into practice, alongside the interpersonal aspect. I look forward to gaining more experiences and I am optimistic about the opportunities available to me as my journey continues.
