TRC - engineering, environmental consulting and construction management firm, providing integrated services to the power, infrastructure, environmental, and oil and gas markets. (TRC acquired Willbros Professional Services Segment in December 2015, creating a new Oil & Gas Sector. ) Senior HR Business Partner to the Oil & Gas Operations Teams including Engineering Services, Field Services, Government Services, and Integrity Services. Employee base 680 employees within the Sector with offices in 10 states and various project sites across the U.S. Worked with Executives and Senior Leadership from both Willbros and TRC to successfully complete the acquisition of Willbros Professional Services to TRC Solutions. Advise and consult with Operational Leadership and Executives, including review and consultation on compensation, workforce planning, performance reviews, benefits, retention, compliance, and recruitment programs.Lead implementation of key HR programs such as Individual Development Plans, Succession Planning, Retention Interviews, and facilitate training on new performance management system, software updates, and management skills. In partnership with management and the recruiting team, forecast hiring needs, update recruiting practices (interview training), and complete onboarding exercises. Implemented reduction in force practices and procedures creating a cost savings for the company during a downturn in the economy and promoted long term employee engagement and loyalty through review of leadership’s skills in coaching, planning, communications, etc. Leverage HR metrics to define current workforce, trends, turnover, etc. Consult with leaders and legal counsel on employee relations issues including investigating, mediation, coaching, and advising. Act as neutral party to advocate for a balanced perspective.
