As Founding President of the global urological nonprofit, IVUmed, I have been involved in every facet of the organization from concept through its development to become the only independent urological nonprofit dedicated to urological education worldwide. IVUmed partners with doctors and nurses, with universities and with health systems to support hands-on urological training in low resource countries. Over 20 years, many of our partner sites have become regional training centers. IVUmed continues to support scholarships and surgical training in all aspects of urological care.
