In recent years, I have embarked on a journey to shift my career focus to what I feel truly passionate about: solutions to foster cross-geographical sustainability. This journey began with an exploration of what areas I could most effectively contribute to and continued with enrolment in an outstanding master's program at the University of Iceland in Environment and Natural Resources with a specialisation in Renewable Energy - Energy and Sustainability: Policy, Economics and the Environment. While navigating the numerous issues in sustainability facing the world today and potential solutions, I became particularly interested in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and carried out my thesis work based on the methodology.Relevant projects include:- Evaluating Albania’s Nationally Determined Contribution commitment: A comparative LCA of passenger vehicles powered by conventional diesel, B7, and electricity- Life Cycle Assessment of Green Hydrogen Production- Arctic Circle Commitment to SustainabilityMy experiences living and working in the US, Japan, Mexico, China, Singapore, Albania, and Iceland have also allowed me to develop a deeper first-hand understanding of how cultural, historical, and political contexts affect corporate and consumer habits, energy production and consumption, and the development of policies for sustainability.I am now excited to apply my skills and knowledge in LCA, renewable energy, and sustainability in combination with my cross-cultural professional experience in marketing, education, and training to promote more conscious practices across industries.
