I am the trainer for Patient Access staff and Quality Coordinator for Greenville Health System's Oconee campus. I am currently learning medical coding for the hospital setting. I work closely with our IT department for testing of new applications and as a liaison between departments. I keep staff informed of insurance changes. I have helped Pre-Cert staff with coding issues to ensure the facility gets paid correctly. As the EQS I am the person staff and other managers utilize when my current manager is away from the facility or not available, i.e. staffing, problem solving, supply orders, budget control. I have some experience in Skilled Nursing billing-Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial/Pvt Pay.
