Scientific Project Lead | Industry Collaboration Lead- Project leader of major multicentric cohort studies in collaboration with leading Swiss rheumatologists, including an award-winning study on the long-term antibody response to the COVID-19 vaccine in patients with inflammatory rheumatic diseases. - Lead author of peer-reviewed scientific articles.- Presentation of research findings at major national and international conferences.- Coordination of internal and external scientific meetings.- Content creation and effective communication of insights from the registry database of > 20'000 patients with RA, axSpA, and PsA, as well as research results to internal and external stakeholders.- Regular engagement with partners from the pharmaceutical industry to address scientific/data-driven inquiries and discuss analyses requests.- Continuous development of the data analytics platform for pharmaceutical industry partners. - Supporting the Science Director with the Data Science team leadership.

Environmental analytics and expert reviews for research proposals.

- Modelling of the global environmental impacts of power production (carbon footprint, water consumption, thermal emissions).- Scenario analysis and emission reduction potentials.

- Development of the highest resolution georeferenced global dataset of power plant operational characteristics and emissions.- Modelling of river water temperature increase due to thermal emissions from global power production .- Quantification of the thermal footprint of nations: multi-regional input-output analysis of freshwater thermal pollution embedded in global trade.- Life Cycle Impact Assessment methodology development: research on aquatic ecotoxicity impact assessment of organic sum-parameters in industrial effluents.- Interdisciplinary work (participation in European projects; initiation of international research collaborations).- Master theses supervision

Research in areas of alignment of liquid crystals and novel liquid crystal displays, including:• Micropatterned graded refractive index liquid crystal lenses via photolithographic alignment. • Fabrication and optimisation of ‘shared-view’ liquid crystal display prototypes.
