I have a degree in developmental psychology from Università La Sapienza of Rome, Italy. I graduated from NYU with a masters degree in Clinical Social Work and practiced as a licensed clinical social worker in New York for many years. I trained in family therapy at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in NYC and in Milton Erickson's utilization approach with ericksonian therapists Nancy Winston and Paul Lounsbury. I worked in the field of substance abuse treatment for eight years at an outpatient center in Brooklyn, CSEDNY where I held both clinical and managerial positions. After returning to Italy in 2012 I have established a private practice in Rome where I offer counseling and psychotherapy. My bilingual and bi-cultural experience are especially fit to meet the needs of the English-speaking community in Rome.
