Aid legislators and stakeholders with New York State policy projects from project conception to lobbying and implementation in policy areas including good governance, health and safety, worker’s rights, and education. Draft bills for NYS Assembly and Senate using deep knowledge of NYS politics, regularly facilitate meetings with NYS politicians to problem solve and gain bipartisan support for policies and initiatives.

Work with incarcerated individuals in preparation for their parole hearings: lead interview preparation, assist with obtaining necessary documents, write supporting supplemental materials, compile relevant transcripts and certificates, collect letters of support from friends, family, and community members. Regularly lead legal calls with applicants as needed for relationship building and interview preparation.

Completed over 178 hours of training to obtain a New York State Firefighter I certification. Work one 4 hour on-call shift weekly; participate in regular skills trainings, meetings, and truck checks.

Worked with lawyers, educators, and judges to develop mock trial and mock appeal cases for sixth-eighth grade students throughout the state of Massachusetts. Assisted in the development and production of civics curriculum for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Scheduled and facilitated tours of the John J.
