Writing policies, implementing referral criteria, carrying out interventions, attending, facilitating and chairing meetings with other professionals, schools, hospitals, social care and private organisations Skills include using art as a medium for expression, counseling and listening skills, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, building relationship and rapport, sign language, and puppets as therapy.Liaising with professionals, consulting to families, schools, carrying out individual therapy with children.Record keeping, writing reports, initial assessments, sign posting, child protection, medication monitoring.Also work in generic CAMHS using therapeutic interventions for young people with a wide range of mental health issues.

Working with homeless teenagers, enabling them to access housing, education, employment; advising them on sexual health matters, attending appointments and dealing with mental health issues that may be blocking them from living independently. Health promotion, mental health awareness and building boundaried therapeutic relationships.

Working with children with special needs, assisting them to access education, accompanying them in lessons, offering support to teachers and to all students in class.

Working with adults with learning disabilities, teaching groups of 12, basic skills such as cooking, writing, woman's groups, art group.Key Working adults, assessing and implementing behavioural plans.

Working with the elderly, assessing their homes, enabling them to return to independent living by providing them with different adaptations and aids.

Involved Working Saturday's and evenings whilst working as an OTA, serving members of the public, stock control, dealing with people.
