Led a twelve-month project on child and family wellbeing reform with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) as a government innovation fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School Government Performance Lab, a research and technical assistance organization that supports state and local governments in developing and testing initiatives that lead to the creation of more just and effective service systems. Provided technical assistance as a full-time fellow embedded in MDHHS Children's Services Agency on the implementation of a child abuse and neglect hotline screen-out pilot working with a community partner to connect families who screen out out of CPS investigation to community based resources to increase family stability and prevent future child welfare interaction, particularly for populations overrepresented in Child Welfare due to systemic and institutionalized disadvantages.
