I was employed to research and compile a tourist guidebook. This has involved internet research, gaining advertisers, liaising with stockists, sourcing photographs, visiting destinations and all other associated works involved in the production of a book. The book will be published and for sale in late March. I am also identifying and targeting potential new customers and revenue streams for Lion Print.

My role involved liaising with employees, agencies, suppliers etc. to ensure the comfort of employees and the smooth running of various office services. • First point of contact for any employee complaints, queries or issues relating to their working environment.• Responding to the above promptly whilst liaising with suppliers, Office Security, Office Maintenance, etc.• Ordering stationery, stock items, lunches and couriers.• Liaising with Office Cleaners on a daily basis ensuring their work was carried out satisfactorily.• Arranging travel for employees, liaising with taxi companies, hotels and travel agencies.• Processing invoices using SAP. • Updating information on database regarding Office Maintenance issues.

Finding foster placements for children which Local Authorities have been unable to place with their own carers. This is a role which involved clear and concise communication skills, immediate response to referrals, constant liaison with all stakeholders and working in a busy and pressured environment. My duties were as follows:• First point of contact for referring Local Authority Duty Teams and Social Workers.• Responding to referrals promptly and efficiently.• Investigating, analyzing and researching possible placements for children.• Liaising with Foster Carers, Social Workers and Local Authorities.• Co-ordinating referrals.• Accurate and speedy documenting and recording of all referrals, phone calls, e-mails. • Updating information on database regarding Foster Carers.• Updating and circulating Vacancy Lists on a daily basis.• Dealing with Foster Carer enquiries.• Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
