CurrentPlanned, promoted, and provided programming for ages 0-18 including storytimes, craft events,book clubs, game nights, and more. Solicited ideas for teen programs from the Library's TeenAdvisory Board.Helped apply for and carry out a Library Services and Technology Act Mini Grant of $8,349. Thisyear-long project involved selecting technology best suited for community outreach, education,and enrichment, introduced to the public via community events and new collections of Adults andKids circulating technology.Collections managed: YA fiction, Graphic Novels, Non-fiction, and audiobooks; Juvenile Nonfiction; Juvenile DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks; Juvenile and YA e-books.Planned the Summer Reading Challenge for teens and supervised a group of teen volunteers eachsummer.Managed 5 budget lines for a total of $8,350 annually.Created and cultivated partnerships with local organizations to provide library services beyond thelibrary walls.
