Electronic Records Management (ERM) is a new project currently being undertaken by BCU. The main objective is to move BSV towards a fully digital environment with streamlined processes designed to improve efficiency and quality of data management within the program. One area of focus is to move away from the dependency on paper client records. A fully digital workflow in Gecko will complement online access to digital PACS images delivered by Digital Mammography Project (DMP). The project commenced in March 2013 and will run for two years and has a budget of $1.26 million.

The Digital Mammography Project (DMP) aims to implement digital mammography imaging technology in the population based breast screening program. Deployment began with a pilot phase from 2005 to 2008. It involves telecommunications infrastructure and digital mammography imaging equipment at all Screening and Assessment Services (SAS) and screening locations in Victoria. The DMP aims to convert the remaining analogue screening services to the digital environment in a three year roll out.Responsibilities:• Manage and deliver all projects from planning to completion, to an agreed schedule and within budget• Prepare project documentation, scheduling, issue tracking, risk management, resource management and QA• Manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders• Assist Operational Project Manager to present project reports and updates to Department of Health and Project sponsors • Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders and sponsors. • Track, schedule and manage projects using MS Project and Breastscreen internal systems• Manage site works including internal refurbishments or minor building construction/alterations• Provide direction and support to the project team• Manage resource allocation• Implement and manage change to achieve project outputs• Analyse and address risks to the project, including consulting with key subject matter experts, developing proposed approaches and mitigations.• Monitoring of budget activities and procurement of equipment, by reviewing all invoices received• Evaluate the project success through reporting and post implementation reviews
