CurrentCatherine is a full-time real estate professional and has been recognized for her consistent sales achievement with the Royal Lepage Award of Excellence - Lifetime Achievement and the prestigious Royal LePage Emerald Award, which ranks her among the top 45 agents in Ottawa and surrounding area. Catherine prides herself on her in-depth knowledge of home construction and rural properties. Catherine holds the SRES designation, Seniors Real Estate Specialist, and has received specialized training to advise mature adults in their real estate decisions as well as the ABR designation, an Accredited Buyer Representative and the CNE designation, a Certified Negotiation Expert. Catherine has also been awarded the CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist) designation. Catherine is a past member of the Professional Standards Committee of The Ottawa Real Estate Board.Before being licensed as a REALTOR ®, Catherine operated her own business for 15 years as an independent consultant to the private sector, governments and non-profit organizations. She's bilingual in English and French and holds the highest fluency rating possible from the Canadian federal government.Catherine's consulting work focused primarily on healthy child and adolescent development and community development. She carries this passion about healthy people and vibrant, healthy communities to her role as a REALTOR ®. Catherine made the smart move to the Ottawa area over 25 years ago. Her family chose the west end of Ottawa as the perfect spot to lay down new roots.Catherine and her family later moved to rural Kanata where they bought an unfinished home on 4 acres. Catherine acted as the General Contractor and worked with over 48 tradespeople in just 6 weeks to complete the home. She's convinced this is some of the best project management experience she's ever had!
