About Catherine Teehan-De Greef M.Sc.

After 13 years of working as a Product Developer and Project Manager in the food industry, I decided in 2011 to pursue my interest in nutrition and become a Dietitian. In November 2017, I opened my own practice in Deventer. I particularly enjoy working with geriatric patients with conditions such as Malnutrition, Heart Failure, Cancer, COPD, CVA, Diabetes Mellitus II, Kidney Failure, Dementia and Parkinson's disease. Helping them rehabilitate after a period of illness is very rewarding which is why I work partime in a geriatric rehabilitation centre. My other areas of interest include food intolerances and allergies, in particular coeliac disease and the low FODMAP diet for Irritable Bowel Disease. And of course sports nutrition as I am a big Gaelic games and Rugby fan.
