I worked at Scarborough Grounds for almost two years as a supervisor and key holder. After six months of working there, I got a key to open and close the store. This was a huge accomplishment for me because I was the first-ever person to obtain a key so early into my career at Scarborough Grounds. This meant I had a lot of responsibility since I had to make sure the store was tidy and clean for the opening and closing shifts. While working there, I had to lead my team to make sure everything went smoothly. I had to use my communication skills to interact with customers to make sure they got the best experience and to make sure that their coffee and food were brought to them in a timely manner by working with my coworkers efficiently.
