With over 15 years of experience in the education and human rights sectors, Catherine is dedicated to social transformation and inclusion through education. She currently serves as Pedagogical Coordinator at Grupo +Unidos, overseeing more than 10 English as Second Language (ESL) programs. Catherine develops innovative methodologies to expand project reach and impact across socioeconomically vulnerable communities throughout Brazil.Throughout her career, Catherine has been committed to promoting social justice and inclusive education. She developed and implemented the "English to Communicate, Catalyze and Connect (E2C)" methodology, benefiting over 1600 Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous students from 2021 to 2024. Her experience includes adapting and expanding the "Access" Program in partnership with the U.S. Diplomatic Mission, and establishing strategic partnerships with public and private sectors, both domestically and internationally.Fluent in English, with advanced proficiency in Hebrew and Spanish, and basic knowledge of French, Catherine operates effectively in multicultural and international contexts.Her key competencies include project management focused on human rights, employability, and socio-environmental education, partnership building, action planning and implementation, performance monitoring, and technical report writing.Catherine's project management achievements include hiring and developing professional processes for Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous teachers, establishing a mental health team to support students and faculty, and developing curricula integrating social justice, environmental sustainability, and leadership. She has also enhanced student retention and program effectiveness through streamlined administrative processes and data-driven strategies.
