As a 2019 Indiana Alumni and a professional within the field of speech-language pathology, my experience portfolio is varied. I have worked inpatient rehabilitation, long-term care facilitates, and in an academic placement center. Experienced with treating individuals with language disorders and articulation disorders as well as the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication, I'm passionate about helping people - no matter their age. My skills and experiences are also multifaceted. I have a B.A. in linguistics, which enhances my clinical skills with a deeper understanding of language and its structures. With a skills gleaned from academics and research, I can analyze language samples, dissect grammar errors, and explain articulatory placement cues. I also studied Japanese at the university level following a year as a high school Rotary exchange student in Japan. Outside of the world of speech and language, I enjoy reading, woodworking, gardening, traveling, and sailing.
