• Deployment of a full understanding of the quality assurance policy and business processes that underpin key stages of programme administration, providing specialist advice to colleagues.• Management and administration of student appeals and complaints cases, supporting the investigative process through to outcome. • Management and administration of the programme validation process for new and existing academic programmes, preparation of documentation and reports.• Full support to the Chair of Faculty Programmes Committee and the Quality Assurance Monitoring sub-Committee, scheduling meetings, preparing agenda, papers and minutes/action logs.• Implementation of new processes as they are developed through institutional projects to provide students and staff with improved services.• Recruitment, selection, supervision and performance management of the CQA administrative team (8 staff).• Management of the operational delivery of the work undertaken by the Faculty’s CQA Team, facilitating a team approach that manages the effective use of time and resources whilst providing excellent customer service. • Creation and maintenance of effective working relationships with a wide range of academic and administrative colleagues across the institution, promoting collaborative working to achieve shared aims.
