I have a passion for people's health, safety and well-being. I understand the complexity and variability of human behaviour, and the need for this to be integrated with the technical understanding of hazards and work processes. I believe that a behavioural focus on health and safety will provide sustainable solutions to reducing work related injury and illness.I possess multi-sector experience covering mining, education, hospitality and welfare - in global, national, state and not-for-profit organisations. This diversity of experience affirms my ability to adapt to different environments, industries and cultures. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated the ability to influence stakeholders to visibly improve safety culture whilst ensuring the application of legislation, standards, policies and procedures, in the quest to ultimately achieve zero harm.
