I have had a wonderfully rich professional life. With my days at Bristol-Myers Squibb I learned many aspects of the medical field, the corporate world and specifically, relational and informational sales. Later, I embarked on one of my personal passions of creating beautiful and functional living environments. For 13 years, in the Atlanta, Georgia area, I had the pleasure of serving individuals and families with their homes. Many of my clients continue to be very close friends of mine. Then in 2011, when my husband took a job to work with the Coca-Cola team to serve on the Wal-Mart team in Bentonville, Arkansas, I had the privilege of being welcomed into the fast growing arts and cultural world of Northwest Arkansas. Specifically, I did some contract work with Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. I assisted with all opening events as well as with behind the scenes tours for regional VIP's prior to the grand opening on 11-11-11. With those connections, I met some of the brightest and best in NWA and was then hired at the Walton Arts Center and The AMP-Arkansas Music Pavilion to lead the corporate development department. Due to my outstanding contributions in raising money for both the operating and capital expenses at the AMP I have been awarded with a lifetime seat at the AMP! In 2014 we moved back to Atlanta, Georgia, to the Morningside-Virginia Highlands area that we consider home and love. Since then, with the help of an excellent team, we have grown Catherine Wilson Interiors as a referral only, busy and full service design firm with several full-time employees.
