Catherine Wong is a Senior Landscape Architect at Salad Dressing with over 10 years of experience. She was born in Sabah, Borneo, where she grew up in the rich biodiverse rainforest and unique habitats of Mount Kinabalu. Her childhood experiences inspired her to integrate nature into urban environments, allowing people to reconnect with the natural world.During her time at Salad Dressing, Catherine has reflected on the concept of adaptive radiation, particularly in the context of the pandemic. Her understanding of how life forms rapidly diversify in changing environments has allowed her to design the 3rd botanical garden of Singapore (Jurong Lake Gardens) with an ecological approach that creates new opportunities for humans and nature to interact.
