As a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in journalism and minor in statistics, I am passionate about data-driven, accountability reporting that sheds light on policy issues. I most recently interned on the data desk for NBC News Digital and POLITICO and I'm now a freelance data reporter for election coverage. During my time as a college journalist and editor, I received state and national awards for court reporting, homelessness coverage and investigations into both COVID-19 and policing. My junior year, I had the opportunity to serve as Editor-in-Chief of Cal Poly's student-run Mustang Media Group, which received the highest-level organizational awards in college media under my supervision.
