About Catherine Mitchell
Hello! I am a driven and enthusiastic individual who recently relocated to Chicago from Honolulu. I am a proud alumna of the 2015 Teach For America Corps and am a lifelong advocate for social justice. I had the pleasure of teaching Algebra 2 and coaching cheerleading at James Campbell High School. After TFA, I transitioned out of the classroom and worked in Neuroscience clinical research for 5 years. During my time in the clinic, I led my site to quintuple the number of studies and we hit multiple key recruitment targets while maintaining a high industry-quality standard. In 2022, I joined Maven Clinic where I currently leverage my strengths from the classroom and the clinic by supporting our members in their fertility, pregnancy, and parenting care. As a Global Care Advocate, I am the first personal connection with APAC-region members via video appointment to support their goals with navigation and coaching. Throughout their Maven experience, I provide ongoing case management and serve their care requests. Specifically, I answer our members' questions regarding Maven and also provide personalized online appointment booking support. As a bilingual Mandarin speaker, I am able to support our Mandarin-speaking members as well! The countries I support include but are not limited to China, Taiwan, Singapore,Japan and Australia.
