About Catherine Conway
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor with over 16 years experience. I have worked at community mental health centers, Linden Oaks Hospital, both their inpatient and outpatient programs and was part of successful private practice. My approach to therapy is, primarily, client-centered. I also use Solution Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR, RRT and CBT. I also use Positive Psychology and the expressive art therapies to help clients develop to their fullest potential. I have worked with clients diagnosed with trauma, anxiety, depression, chemical dependency and sexual assault. As a therapist, my primary focus is to develop a healthy working relationship with my clients, not as the "expert" to solve their problems but, as one who has traveled the same journey, and can provide tools by which clients can successfully resolve their problematic issues which prevent them from living their fullest life.
