As a healthcare professional with a strong foundation in patient care and a focused ambition to advance in Laboratory Science, I am excited to transition into a Laboratory Assistant role. With an Associate’s Degree in Arts and six years of hands-on experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, I have developed crucial skills in patient monitoring, daily activity support, and vital signs management. My career has included significant roles in Assisted Living Communities in Naperville and Bolingbrook, IL, where I gained valuable insights into patient care, including memory-impaired and post-surgical rehabilitation.Currently, I am pursuing a Biomedical degree through Arizona State Online, with the goal of obtaining laboratory licensure by 2026. My long-term objective is to become a Laboratory Scientist, and I view a Laboratory Assistant position as a pivotal step in achieving this goal. I am particularly interested in specializing in Immunology and Microbiology, areas I plan to explore further through Arizona State’s Master’s Program.My experience at Providence Health in Illinois as a medical assistant has refined my skills in Basic Life Support, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and the interpretation of medical data. These skills, combined with my strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, position me well for a role in a laboratory setting.Having relocated to Arizona from Chicago in June 2021, I am seeking a full-time Laboratory Assistant position where I can apply my background and enthusiasm for laboratory work. I am eager to contribute to scientific research and clinical diagnostics, and to develop my expertise as I work toward becoming a Laboratory Scientist.
