With over 25 years experience in change leadership, communications and technology in both nonprofit and corporate sectors, Catherine enjoys enabling digital and business transformation through human, technical and process innovation. As the marketing/communications industry began to transition in a more technical direction, Catherine jumped at the chance to evolve her skills and became a self-taught, "accidental" techie, and sought out and/or introduced digital elements into her more traditional communications positions. Prior to joining Heller Consulting as a Senior Consultant in May 2016, Catherine spend over 18 years working and volunteering in the nonprofit industry. She championed innovation within the Canadian Cancer Society at the national, provincial and local levels over 12 years in senior roles. Over that period, Catherine led change as a catalyst and by continually seeking and leveraging emerging technologies to facilitate deeper engagement with the Society's constituents while transforming business processes for efficiency. Prior to working with the Society, Catherine worked in the broadcast industry in the US and Canada after receiving her MBA and MS in communications from Boston University. In addition to becoming one of the Association of Change Management Professional's first 500 Certified Change Management Professional™ (CCMP™), Catherine is a Prosci's Certified Change Practitioner and Certified CQ Change Leader.Outside of her professional life, she is passionate about STEM education for children and enjoys the privilege of mentoring women and young professionals, loves spending time with her nephews and God kids, enjoys adventure travel and travel photography, and feels truly privileged to have visited seven continents along the way.
