Growing up near the Chicagoland area, I was blessed to be raised by two-supportive parents. I attended a Catholic private high school, took some college classes and realized that the cosmetic industry was calling me home. I earned my cosmetology license and spent some time figuring out exactly what I wanted to do. After failed attempts in the hair industry, I went back to college. I needed a job so I went to the mall. My mother would never allow me to have a job at the mall (she was a bit paranoid), but when I saw that a boutique called Bare Minerals opened, I quickly went in and applied. I spoke with the manager and scheduled an interview for the next day. That was the start to my long and life-changing career choice. I spent the next three years working for Bare Minerals. In 2014, I became a manager in the Madison, Wisconsin Bare Minerals location. I moved with the company to Baltimore, Maryland in 2015. I re-located back to the Chicagoland after I became pregnant with my first son. During that time and the few years after, I experienced sales with many astounding companies such as Clinique, Estée Lauder, Lancôme, MAC, Philosophy, just to name a few. I moved back to Maryland in 2016 where I have managed different types of retail businesses. I really enjoyed being a manager at Ulta and experiencing a fast-paced environment with a high amount of inventory and strict policies. After freelancing for Juice Beauty, Inc., I got hired by the Baltimore Orioles where I am currently employed as a member of the Fan Engagement and Ticket Sales team. I loved the career switch to the Orioles. Working for the O’s broadened my horizon in a new world that is the Sports Industry.I stumbled upon a job listing for a place named A. Woman’s Touch. AWT is a sexual health and resource center, but most people know them as femme run sex shops. Throughout these two years, I have dove into the extensive medical and psychological world of sexual health and wellness. I have fallen in love with this new obsession/career. As of August 2024, I will be starting classes full time at Edgewood college, working towards my degree that is psychotherapy focused, but public health is also calling my name.
