As the Venture Support Intern at the Unreasonable Institute, a nonprofit with international reach, I assisted the Program Manager in strengthening the business models of 10 of the most promising startups in the U.S. who are addressing big problems like food waste, illiteracy, and the lack of training for 21st century jobs. During the accelerator my responsibilities encompassed various tasks in preparing and providing the necessary resources during the event. This included:-Collecting information about each startup's operations, business model, and finances and formatting them into an informative single document for the investors and mentors to have for the companies they met with-Collaborating with the Community Maverick to engage and create community among members of cohort by facilitating community building activities-Facilitating workshops (scale/strategic planning)-Building relationships with values-aligned sponsors-Creating and designing program materials-Arranging travel for VIPs and making sure they had everything they needed for a great experience

The Love to Ride Bike Challenge is an online platform that engages the community to cycle. It is a fun free competition between businesses in Boulder that encourages employees to cycle during the month of September. My primary roles and responsibilities with Love to Ride was to encourage businesses to participate in the Challenge. I did a lot of outreach to connect with and engage local companies in Boulder along with partnering with different cycling organizations for support.
