Fascinated by why others followed me, I am currently researching and teaching leadership at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I am particularly curious about effective ways to lead change amongst professionals.Prior to this I enjoyed over twenty years in the corporate world in a broad career from marketing and product development to customer service and operations; culminating as director of a £500m international business unit with thousands of staff. In 2003 I was short-listed European business woman of the year by the European Union of Women for turning around a failing business unit and in 2007 was also short-listed best mentor in the Blackberry women in technology awards. In 2005 I founded a consulting and mentoring business advising other business leaders how to lead change and master new challenges, with clients including Sun Microsystems, Butlins and PWC.Specialties: A leader, mentor and inspirational speaker.
