During my 5+ years as a Math and Science Coach, I developed and presented professional development based on teachers' needs and interests. Analyzing student data allowed me to identify successful instructional strategies that teachers could use to assist their students both in the classroom and in afterschool programs. Creating and coordinating all aspects of programing for parents provided an avenue for me to build relationships with all stakeholders, including parents, teachers, administration and community members. I initiated the Math Jedi program schoolwide which engaged students and increased math proficiency by 62%.

Served the Collier County Public School District as a fourth and fifth grade teacher for nine years. During this time, I designed and implemented lessons in all subject matter for students at varying learning levels. This required differentiation skills, patience and understanding, and adaptability. I was also able to work with other educators as a team lead and to create a collaborative learning environment.
