• Managed the performance of two manufacturing lines that produced over 1 million pounds of polypropylene plastic film each year, ensuring manufacturing process stayed within the control limits for all the different films produced in each. • Assured sound engineering and validation principals were applied to process design and process control to improve quality and manufacturability of plastic film. Managed projects to assure on-time and on budget implementation.• Developed standard operating procedures to re-train line operators and reduce defects in the produced film. Improved quality control process and reduced overall defects in production. • Saved the plant over $300k by improving use of raw material, re-calibrating the resin hoppers and working with operations team to increase the use of recycled material.• Worked with operations, facilities and maintenance teams to install a new manufacturing line rail system. Completed the project successfully while staying within the $400k budget.
