Manage the activities and financial reporting process of the MIS Finance – MIS Projects area, with an annual capital budget of $125M.  Manage the preparation of monthly project financial reports and prepare monthly consolidated project portfolio and executive summary reports for MIS, Corporate Finance and Business Unit executive management Review project costs for accuracy and validate their adherence to SOP-91 and Corporate capitalization guidelines Provide PMs and MIS CRMs variance and cost exception reports and identify potential project overruns and savings Prepare monthly direct cash variance analysis reports for Director’s review before submission to Corporate Manage the preparation of annual capital and expense project budget submission for Capital Planning by partnering with PMs and CRMs and validating assumptions for ROI and other financial metrics Collaborate with MIS Governance to ensure proper project setup in MIS time tracking/job costing tool and to coordinate timely accurate data downloads from the tool for monthly project allocation and forecast reporting Partner with MIS Governance to document MIS project financial policies and procedures and provide training sessions to project managers and other end-users on proper and accurate project cost tracking and tool utilization Monitor project annual budgets and ultimates; work directly with Corporate in tracking budget changes and transfers Prepare and develop ad hoc analyses and reconciliations as necessary for decision support

Provide executive management reporting for and analytical financial support to the IT department (which incurs approximately $145M in annual GAAP expenses) of a national, full-service mortgage bank (ranked #8 nationally).  Compile and prepare presentations for senior management, the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors, including quarterly Management Accountability reports, quarterly Information Technology reports and annual Strategic Plans Prepare all supporting analyses and schedules for quarterly Business Unit IT Financials and Project presentations in order to provide transparency to IT and project financials, including capitalized software development labor and its impact on future amortization Partner with internal customers to enhance their command and control of IT spend and related processes Represent the financial management team as member of the Betterment Committee, whose main focus is to improve work environment and employee morale in IT
