I would describe this as one of the most complex, rewarding, fascinating and engaging challenges of my career and I continue to watch progress in this beguiling island nation with great interest, especially with the airport now looking like a reality. More recently, I completed a marketing audit of Montserrat's tourism activity on behalf of DFID and the Government of Montserrat - in spite of significant challenges, it is a beautiful place, which I highly recommend for a laid-back "Caribbean as it was" holiday. I moderated the twice-yearly AITO travel agents' conferences for five years, a job which I particularly relished.
