Headquartered in Amsterdam, IMC Financial Markets is one of the world’s leading proprietary trading firms and a key market maker in various products listed on exchanges throughout the world.As a member of the Management Team, I spearheaded the strategy development and implementation of our human capital strategy, achieving buy-in from global stakeholders. To do so, I built a terrific team of business savvy HR pros who were prepared to create innovative talent solutions to business problems. Our successful hiring and talent development framework rewarded excellence, eliminated mediocrity and ensured continuous feedback and open communication.

In the span of my Fed career, I held multiple executive leadership roles. My last position was the head of HR for the largest division of the Chicago Fed, where I was entrusted to build employee engagement, strengthen skill development and create agile solutions to recruit and retain bank examiners during the recent financial crisis. Prior to this, I led teams as diverse as internal communications, corporate strategy, check operations and the Office of the COO (sort of like West Wing!). No two days were ever the same, and I was lucky enough to facilitate in large change and organizational design initiatives, including creation of a refreshed mission/ vision in support of the transition to a new Bank President.
