As Product Manager for the whole of the Dorma Brand area I was responsible for market analysis and defining the Dorma range, ensuring we met the requirements of the current market. I analysed sales for different areas of the business enabling me to set budgets for stock procurement.

Initially based in the wholesale area of the business and then progressing into retail. I held various responsibilities including Procurement, Customer Services/Sales Admin and Forecasting. I was heavily involved in inventory control and stock turn around, meeting KPI's and ensuring the smooth running of the business unit.

Responsible for all technical aspects from design through to bulk production, working closely with design and commercial teams. I ensured that all products met the customers technical requirements working with overseas manufacturers.

Working in a busy textile Wet Processing site I managed both the Quality Lab and the Dye House Lab, both provided back up to bulk production.

Working in the Distribution Centre I oversaw the phased introduction of a computerised Warehouse Management System. I was also responsible for Quality Control on the site.

On the CVHF Graduate training programme I carried out a diverse range of short term placements and projects at different sites within the company. Projects ranged from setting testing standard to writing a training scheme for shop floor workers to enable them to achieve an NVQ.
