Brown Act of 1953.Formatting and Proofreading: Utilize Microsoft Word and other Office Suite applications, particularly Excel, to format and proofread various documents in line with Style Guidelines.Copyediting Tasks: Format letters, memos, meeting agendas, minutes, short reports, and contracts from drafts or author instructions.Complex Copyediting: Create and format mail merges, reports, charts/graphs, electronic forms, flyers, tables of contents, and indexes.PDF Management: Convert and transform documents into PDF format for the website and agenda processing, and update web content using authoring software.Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance and support special projects as assigned.Calendar Management: Schedule meetings and manage the calendar according to the approved legislative schedule.
